Nice meal here at our regular Indian stop in the East Village. Saag paneer and lamb vindaloo were flavorful though I was hoping for a bit more spice. Owner and staff were very nice and gave us free dessert. Will be back (as usual) the next time we're in town. The ambiance is unparalleled, muat see when you are in the area!

I've been going to Panna since Baboo was a teenager! lol. Everything about Panna is fantastic - from sitting on top of the neighboring table, to the hectic (yet somehow perfect) execution of dinner, to the consistently excellent cuisine. Whenever we have friends in town and want to show off a true NYC experience, Panna is on the list. The memories and photos will become part of your favorite things. Promise.

This is a place that I always enjoy coming to when I come to NYC. The abundance of colorful lights and great smells of food and incense is always something I look forward to when I come here. We got vegetables samosas. I got Chana saag and my friend got chicken tikka masala! Our waiter spoiled us and gave us a complimentary naan and yummy icecream. I wonder if it was because there weren't many people in the restaurant yet! In any case a welcomed gesture :) I'll be back!

This is one of my favorite classic restaurants to visit. It's unlikely you'll dine in a more unique space in Manhattan. The space is cozy and feels like you're visiting someone's home (if that home had thousands of festive lights hanging from the ceiling). I really enjoy the food there. Everything is bursting with flavor, and you cannot beat the prices. With a very expansive menu, there's something for everyone. The service is superb- attentive, friendly and warm. I have always enjoyed myself with each visit and will definitely return soon.

I've been wanting to come here for so long! Wasn't in town for long but we made it happen. This may surprise you but we pulled up with a party of 9 without a hitch. Of course we called in earlier, which I highly recommend. Due to our large party we decided to just go for their $30 meal which came with a little starter of samosa and onion ball, then came the rice (which I believe is unlimited with this meal, a range of curries and Indian dishes, and finally a good old scoop of ice cream. Everything was so good and it was all so filling. The mango lassi was especially sweet and thick. The space itself is tight which I think is the charm of it but if you're not a fan of small spaces or eating closely with others, this might not be for you.
